Evangelina
made a presentation in New York to the Bell Atlantic Hispanic
Support Organization, February 19, 2000 on "Empowered Hispanics
in the New Organization." For more information about her presentation,

On May
3, 2000 Evangelina made a presentation for the May Meeting
of the Greater Boston Organization Development Network (www.cssunltd.com/gbodn.htm).
Together with Gil Steil (www.gilsteil.com),
Evangelina talked about "Groups Large and Small: An Emerging
Synthesis of All Models to Date." Gil has a background in all
the Large group models (e.g. Search Conference, Future Search,
Conference Model, etc.) while Evangelina's association with the
NTL Institute and the A.K. Rice Institute has steeped her in the
theory and practice of small groups in the T-groups and Tavistock
traditions. The meeting was held on Wednesday evening, May
3 in the Agilent (formerly Hewlett-Packard) facility in Andover,
Massachusetts.
On June
17, 2000 Evangelina participated in a panel at the National
Women's Studies Association 21st Annual Conference, June 14-18,
2000. The three
panelists made the following presentations:

On June
23, 2000 James and Evangelina made a presentation at the
2000 Symposium of The International Society for the Psychoanalytic
Study of Organizations. The title of their presentation was "Using
the Problematic Moment Approach to Access Repressed Discourses
and Emotions in Groups and Organizations." The conference theme
was "Emotions in Organizations: The Contribution of Psychoanalytic
Approaches" and took place in London, England June 22-24.
