Women of Color Connection
Working Across Differences in Organizations

This purpose of this collaborative study by Chaos Management, Ltd. and The Center for Gender in Organizations, Simmons College, is to advance the understanding of the theory and practice of working across differences in organizations.

Through data collected in interviews with members of the Women of Color Connection (WOCC) at J.P. Morgan Chase, the study will:
Document the process by which the WOCC was formed and in what activities it engages;
Advance internal knowledge at J.P. Morgan Chase about the challenges and accomplishments of the WOCC;
Identify current challenges and opportunities to enable the group to increase its effectiveness and contributions to J.P. Morgan Chase;
Showcase the effort and position of the WOCC and J.P. Morgan Chase as a model of leadership in the larger corporate world and its commitment to women of color;
Contribute to the development of leading-edge information on efforts to advance change and diversity interventions in organizations.
