This concept-focussed program provides an understanding of the rational behind contemporary work in organizational change. A core program component is examination of the theoretical concepts underpining organization development and transformation efforts.
By program's end, participants will have a better understanding of the three kinds of organizational change (minor, major, and transformative); learn philosophies and theories underlying organization development and organization trnasformation; understand how action research, process consultation, and organizational development interventions fit under the umbrella of organization development; explore themes prevalent in the emerging practice of organizational transformation; and know the factors that invigorate or inhibit change in oneself and in others.
To prepare for this learning experience, participants must complete pre-program work.
