Tools for Working with Differences in Organizations
This two-day workshop for experienced diversity trainers and consultants will increase competencies and leadership skills when working with differences in groups and organizations. Participants will:
| Learn specific concepts and tools such as engaging with problematic moments to enhance working with and across social differences. | | Practice how to identify and ask the difficult questions that support understanding differences and building alliances and coalitions in work teams and affinity groups. | | Assess the application of the tools and models presented to their own field of practice. |
The concepts and tools presented will help diversity leaders guide organizational members away from the repetition of historical forms of interacting towards the social construction of new and more equitable relations at work.
